It's always beach season somewhere... right?
The Gunnar Challenge includes Gunnar's exclusive workout plans designed for fitness newbies as well as fitness freaks. There's a new workout every day and a special "wildcard workout" every Saturday which you can share with friends.
Here's an example of one of Gunnar's wildcard workouts designed to get you smoking hot for the beach:
Begin your workout with a light warm-up. Then pump out the following circuit:
- 25 push-ups, on your toes or on your knees
- 20 split squats per leg
- 25 bench dips. Use a bench, couch or any other elevated stable surface.
- 1 minute wall sit
- 1 minute plank. If you’re a beginner, modify the pose by placing your knees on the ground.
Repeat the circuit 4 times and finish your workout with 35 minutes of cardio – cycling, walking, running, rowing – whatever gets your heart pumping. Don’t forget to cool down afterwards.
Do this routine right and you’ll be hotter than the sun at the beach.
